Duke Smith
President
Duke founded Direct Point Group in 2007 following more than 13 years of strategic marketing leadership and senior guidance as Vice-President and Director of Russ Reid Company’s Canadian office.
Before moving to Canada in 1999, Duke’s fundraising work was central to several non-profit organizations in the U.S. including American Heart Association, United Cerebral Palsy, Children’s Cancer Foundation, American Red Cross, Special Olympics of California and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Prior to joining RRC, Duke spent 14 years providing consumer and business-to-business advertising expertise to clients in the for-profit sector.
Katy Smith
Vice President of Operations
Katy brings a wealth of marketing and advertising experience, having served clients at large advertising agencies in the Los Angeles area including Oglilvy & Mather and AdMarketing Century City. Katy’s comprehensive knowledge encompasses many unique aspects of the marketing and advertising industry.
Nam Pinto
Sr. Account Manager
Nam comes to Direct Point Group following 14 years of providing valuable direct-response strategies and leadership to clients in the financial and communications industries. Most recently, Nam was Client Service Director and Senior Marketing Manager for several large agencies, guiding them with her detailed understanding of the direct-marketing discipline and its overall contribution to bottom-line results.
Kelly Stuart-Hribljan
Account Manager
Kelly brings more than 15 years of direct-marketing experience to Direct Point Group, including 4 years developing and managing a national customer retention program for action sports retailer West 49 Inc. With more than 100,000 loyalty program members, Kelly was responsible for all program marketing content and communications (print, email, web, in-store), as well as acquisition gift card marketing for West 49, Billabong and Duke’s Northshore retail store chains in Canada.
Tyrone Fonseca
Creative Director
Tyrone has been working with Direct Point Group since the formation of the company in 2007. With more than 15 years of graphic design and senior-level art direction, Tyrone provides DPG clients with substantial experience across several facets of marketing and communications, including direct response, trade, corporate and consumer fields.
Tyrone works on all DPG client-related projects including direct mail development, email and rich media online creative and execution, web-site design, gift catalog print and website design, P.O.P. displays and signage, space advertising, complete brand identity systems, and other direct marketing programs.
Jordan J. Hay
Creative Writer / Photographer
Jordan serves as a creative specialist to Direct Point Group and holds a Bachelor of Journalism from Ryerson University. He applies his knowledge of communication to a variety of mediums and audiences, including writing and photographing for newspapers, magazines, corporate for-profit publications and non-profit organizations. Jordan has most recently been published in the Jerusalem Post and the Globe and Mail.
